I lay myself down

lay myself down Freydoon RassouliI lay myself down,

at the opening of my soul-
what holds me-
letting me release,
the entanglement of me.
I lay it all down,
at the opening of my heart,
trust reappears,
to take away my doubt-
to take away my fears.
which can be hard,
for the me in me,
that shakes my belief-
holds onto my own fabric,
of living
that cloaks over-
my gentle returning,
to settle for less,
instead of living life more.
I lay myself down,
not to hesitate or wait-
but to release and believe,
my opening is now.
