Seasons Book launch party

An author and a prolific poetess, Maureen Kwiat Meshenberg is guided by her inner soul’s journey and her empathic musing about life. Maureen’s draws from her human experiences, bringing reflective soulful thoughts of the heart, bringing the shifts in life’s journey to her poetry. Her latest call to writing came after the devastating end to her 20 year marriage. The event broke her wide open- bringing forth words not only for herself but for many others who would read her words and find them inspiring and encouraging. Her passion for writing draws her to write about life’s experiences believing we are all collectively a part of life’s journey. Her most recent work includes her own Facebook page called Heart’s Calling where she currently has reached over 3,000 regular readers. Maureen presently writes as a Guest Contributor for Women as Visionaries with Lore Raymond as the Visionary Poet. She also writes for Journey at the Heart Blog, Women’s Spiritual Poetry from which seven of her poems were recently selected to be published in an August 2014 Anthology of poetesses called: Journey of The Hear: An Anthology of Spiritual Poetry by Women.  Maureen is collaborating with Bellissima Opera, a writing project to benefit inner city students in Chicago.  She also recites spoken word at many venues in the Chicago-land area.  She also hosts her own Creative Writing Circles inviting women to use written word as their inner release, monthly from her home. Her Debut book Seasons of the Soul:Transitions and Shifts of Life was released on November 7th 2014.

She is a mother of 3, Alexandra an amazing 23 year old daughter with a passion for styling hair,  Dylan a talented 19 year old artist son, where is artistic work will be illustrated in Seasons of the Soul and Jonah her 17 year old son with a passion to write and love for music. She currently reside in Oak Park, Illinois.

      Hello Beatrice,
      It is a sacred circle of women using writing as a tool of release. I am on hiatus for the summer but will start them up again in September. If you live in the Chicago area and are interested in attending I can email you the invitation.
